WARNING: SLIGHTLY SPOILERIFIC FOR THE ESCAFLOWNE SERIES. A MAJOR PLOT POINT'S REVEALED.

This is actually the product of a joint project between ~unoriginalchaos and myself. In an RPG I'm in (Stone Soup), well, long story short... nevermind, there's no way to sum it up, it's too confusing. Let's just say the universe where Gaea and the 'Mystic Moon' were no longer exists thanks to all the extreme fate tampering. But during the evacuation, an opportunity arose for Celena to bring back Gatti, Shesta, and Dallet's ghosts from the dead (at the cost of being indebted to a goddess several of the people helping in the evacuation served.) Needless to say, she took it.

They're my current favorite impossible 'ship. They're still devoted to their 'commander', and the four of them are in a polyamorous relationship. (No, I don't know how Allen's taking this; he hasn't found out about *that* in the game yet. ^_^)

Unoriginality and I both had a very clear mental image for a fanart, but neither of us felt that we alone had the skill to pull it off as richly as it could be done. So we joined forces. I did the sofa, and a preliminary sketch. UO did all the work for the lineart, drawing the characters. Then it was sent back to me for coloring and backgrounds, and to tweak the colors to simulate firelight from the fireplace in front of them (out of view.) If you look closely, you can see the flames reflected in open eyes.
