So I'm doing the lineart for the art trade, and I start getting the basics for Valgaav down. I get the eye drawn and the horn, but not much else.

Then I come back and observe what I've done, and it dawns on me that at the moment, before the tweaking and detail work's finished... he looks like some deformed, mutated alien creature.

I never had an easier time drawing his hair than I did today after making that observation.

And now he's still mad at me because I've got his hair colored in, and I'm doing Gaav's -- red and green. I can't keep from humming 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' now.
