Preview of some art.

Sneak preview of the picture I'm working on. This is only 1/3 of the full project. Background and foreground is 1/3, the other 1/3 is a huge, roaring lion.

Text on the uniform will be clearer in final project. The sizing down from 2000 px showed me what I need to watch out for when I finalize the actual picture.

The picture itself will be explained when I upload the final version after I get it done...but it may be some days yet. I think I need to rewatch Lion King since Google Images aren't giving me a decent paw reference for a standing lion that's not obscured by grass. -_-

Haven't decided where I'm uploading this. No, it's not fanart. I think it'll belong in the dark/morbid category though. Heh.

...now I'm gonna go see if I can possibly get some sleep. Sleep and I have not been talking lately, mainly because the sheer inability to breathe normally or swallow tends to interfere with that.

And on a completely random tangent, I love J Chaos more than I ever thought possible to love another human being. And I'm damned lucky to have a friend as special as ~unoriginalchaos. And hell, ~beccastareyes is pretty damn nifty in her own right too. And no, it's not just the drugs talking. I don't tell people when I appreciate them anywhere near as often as I ought to.

::grins; HUGS!!:: I love you lots too, hon. You're a very special person, and you're my best friend. You and J both mean so much to me that I boggle at it. You two are all I really need- you care for me, you cheer me up when I'm down, you keep me anchored in reality, and you share some damn fun times. You're right, sometimes it doesn't feel like we tell our loved ones what they mean to us enough, but there's never any less truth behind the words, even when they're not said that often.

^_^ I noticed, in the comments for one of your devitations, you quoted another song of his I love: Unanswered Prayers. While I haven't liked everything he's done, the songs I do like... he's definitely got something special in his songs. I think though my favorite had to be Standing Outside the Fire -- combined with the music video, it just gave me chills. ^_^

When I'm feeling less doped up and half-asleep from being sick, and more capable of providing comments that aren't limited to "ooooo, nifty!" for coherency, I'm heading back into your gallery 'cause there were some that really caught my eye. Of course, with NyQuil in the equation, I couldn't think of anything past "Ooooo! SHINY! I like! Shiny!" ^_^ (Which is why I have devitations piling up in my message box right now.)

Naturally, I hope you start feeling better because it sucks being sick, lol.

With Garth I like a lot of his less popular stuff the best. I own his the limited series box set and in my opinion its one of my best music investments ever! Well, that and Double Live.
