Multiverse High is the brainchild of a few friends of mine, a public messageboard RPG. The premise is just as it sounds: Pulling various characters out of various universes and sticking them in high school - either as teachers or students.

While it's been overdone in fanfics to the point of saturation, it's amusing in practice. Especially if you wind up de-aging an older character and sticking them back in math class (which is taught by Yakko Warner, by the way...) and it's just amusing to play with their annoyances and frustrations.

It's even more entertaining when one's playing Cable from Marvel comics...teaching *psychology*...first period. "It's too flonqing early for this!"

Original and Fan art identified as being part of "Stone Soup" are derived from a semi-private original RPG. The name's from the entire premise: A little bit of everything. Crossovers can work -- just so long as certain rules of logic are followed. For the most part, the RPG is set in both the Marvel universe, and the Master of Orion game universe, although numerous other elements have been blended in over the course of the years since 1997.

There's two timeline spinoffs (Platinum and Millennium) and one former timeline (Alternate) that became Platinum when it was 'reset' by a Goddess. There's three main timelines - First Generation, Second Generation, and Third Generation. 2nd Gen is when the children of the 1st Gen characters are all grown up, and 3rd Gen is when the children of the 2nd Gen characters are entering adulthood.

There's a lot of characters and a lot of twists, so to explain it would require a bit of time and a few anti-psychotic drugs. ^_^ Links to more information can be provided upon request, but there's no promises any of it'll make sense.

That's a very strange world. It's a chaotic nexus world that certain characters have been pulled into to try to fix the timelines and stabilize time and the multiverses before they all collapse in on themselves. Everything's gone topsy-turvy because of all the frequent alternate universe crossovers that have broken down the stability of the fabric of time. There's flying, oinking, zebra dogs, stairs that go upside down, rain that falls sideways (and it's not always water. Sometimes it's pencil shavings. Or gumdrops) and it hails produce. It snows on boiling hot days, and ice melts when it's cold. The moon changes shape, and sometimes the sun goes backward.

And if Xellos seems a bit more human and out of normal character, it's because he got hit by the chaotic forces going around. He's no longer as powerful as he was (although he's still easily the most powerful of the group) and he actually tires, and gets hungry (negative emotions no longer provide sufficient nourishment) and above all, he's actually starting to feel emotion - even positive things.
